Boosting Apprentices’ Careers: Highlights from the Annual Apprenticeship Conference

Sit back, relax, and join us as we explore the exciting highlights and key takeaways from our experience at the Annual Apprenticeship Conference (AAC).

At this event, we had the amazing opportunity to share an insight into our awarding and end-point assessment (EPA) services, conduct interactive Functional Skills demos, and (most importantly) speak to people who care most about the apprenticeship industry.

Needless to say, we had an absolute blast

Network, network, network

Networking is an essential part of any conference, and the AAC was no exception!

We had the pleasure of networking with likeminded individuals, engaging in meaningful conversations, and building valuable connections.

This gave us the opportunity to chat, exchange ideas, and get to know people who share our passion for helping apprentices unlock their potential and kick-start their careers.

In addition to networking, we also visited other stands, and said hello to our lovely partners, including AELP, APTEM, and EPAPro.

Of course, collaborating with industry leaders is more than just having a chin wag, it’s also a chance for us keep up to date on the latest trends and developments in the education sector, to ensure that we drive innovation and are continuously improving our services.

Meeting new and familiar faces

Despite all the amazing workshops taking place and the exciting buzz at the ICC, we must say that our favourite part of the event was speaking face to face with prospective and current customers.

There’s just something about meeting people in person that puts a smile on our faces because it gives us the chance to swap stories and gush about what we do best: working our magic by seamlessly guiding apprentices through their EPA journey

When speaking with prospective customers, we were able to understand what they want from their Awarding Organisation (AO) and End-Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) and how our services align with their curriculum planning and education delivery.

We loved catching up with our current customers and having the opportunity to explore new ways we can optimise their partnership with Training Qualifications UK (TQUK). We did this by listening to their feedback and discussing how we can further support their needs.

Discussing our EPA Services

One of the highlights of the AAC was having the opportunity to discuss everything we have to offer. We even whipped out a video that demonstrated our streamlined services and highlighted our expertise in the apprenticeship sector!

Through these discussions, we were able to address any questions regarding the EPA and awarding processes and delve into our customer support that goes above and beyond to ensure all apprentices and learners have a stress-free experience.

Freebies? Oh, go on then

You should never show up to a conference empty-handed, which is why we prepared some glossy new brochures that sparkled from a mile away to give to clients and prospective customers.

These brochures weren’t just any brochure (what would be the point in that?), they were a valuable resource that served as a comprehensive guide to our head-turning offers and provided exclusive information on our awarding and EPA services.

And of course, we also handed out goodies such as pens, notebooks, highlighters and fliers, all nicely stamped with our swanky, high-fashion TQUK logo.

This provided us with the perfect opportunity to start conversations (because who doesn’t love free stationary?), share our organisation's mission, and chit chat about our commitment to supporting apprentices throughout their EPA journey!

Sharing our new Functional Skills offering

It wouldn’t be an event without a live demonstration of our brand-new Functional Skills offering.

This interactive session allowed exhibition attendees to experience the effectiveness and practicality of our Functional Skills firsthand. We did this by showcasing our user-friendly exam system, how to register learners (without pulling your hair out) and explaining all the benefits our customers and their learners can take advantage of when choosing us as their preferred partner.

The live demos received some very positive feedback from the audience, who appreciated the immersive experience and the opportunity to ask any brewing questions.

Until next year AAC

The two days flew by without a hitch and if the experience has taught us anything, it’s that we can’t wait to pack our bags for next year's event!

Let’s see what exciting developments TQUK will bring out across this next year.

Stay tuned.

If you missed the chance to speak with our team, don't worry. We want to talk to you about optimising your apprenticeship delivery, book a meeting with us!
